Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc: Hotel Review

Located on the beautiful beachfront of Bai Dai in northern Phu Quoc, Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc is a spacious tropical resort that makes a fantastic base for travellers wanting both relaxation and easy access to some of the island’s most popular attractions.

Set among lush gardens, palm-lined pathways, a large lagoon-style pool, and direct beach access, the resort has a peaceful, holiday-ready atmosphere from the moment you arrive. It feels expansive without feeling overwhelming, with plenty of space to unwind, swim, stroll, or simply enjoy the greenery and ocean breeze.

During our stay, we spent 3 nights in a Sea View Suite. It was a great way to experience Phu Quoc, especially with the resort’s beachfront setting, elegant interiors, and convenient location close to Grand World Phu Quoc and VinWonders.

Location & Getting There

Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc is located in the Bai Dai area of northern Phu Quoc, one of the island’s key resort precincts. The location is especially convenient for travellers who want a mix of beach relaxation and easy access to entertainment, dining, and family-friendly attractions.

One of the biggest advantages of staying here is the proximity to Grand World Phu Quoc, which is less than 1 kilometre from the hotel. This makes it really easy to head out in the evening for restaurants, shops, entertainment, and the lively atmosphere that Grand World is known for.

The resort is also close to several major attractions, including VinWonders Phu Quoc, Vinpearl Safari, and Vinpearl Golf Phu Quoc, making it a convenient base if you are planning to explore the northern part of the island.

What we loved most was that the resort still felt calm and tropical despite being so close to everything. You could spend the day by the beach or pool, then easily head out for dinner or entertainment nearby without feeling like you were staying in the middle of a busy tourist strip.

Our Room: Sea View Suite

During our stay, we checked into a Sea View Suite, and it was a really comfortable and spacious base for our time in Phu Quoc.

The suite had an elegant, classic feel with warm neutral tones, soft furnishings, and a generous living area that made it feel much more spacious than a standard hotel room. It was the kind of room where you could properly settle in, unpack, relax, and enjoy a slower resort-style stay.

One of the highlights was the sense of space. The suite felt ideal for a longer stay, with enough room to unwind between activities or simply enjoy some quiet time indoors during the hottest parts of the day.

The sea view also added to the experience, giving the room that relaxed island feeling. Waking up to views across the resort and towards the water made the stay feel especially peaceful, and it was a lovely reminder that you were right by the beach.

The interiors had a more traditional resort elegance rather than a minimalist modern style, with polished details, classic furniture, and a comfortable lounge area. It worked really well with the overall atmosphere of the property - relaxed, established, and spacious.

Facilities

Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc has the kind of facilities that make it super easy to spend most of your stay within the resort itself.

The large outdoor swimming pool is one of the standout features. Surrounded by palm trees, tropical gardens, and resort buildings, it has a relaxed holiday atmosphere and plenty of space for guests to spread out.

Beyond the pool, the resort grounds are beautifully green. Palm-lined pathways connect different areas of the property, creating a calm, tropical feel throughout the resort. The greenery was one of my favourite parts of the stay, especially when walking through the property towards the beach.

The beachfront setting is another major highlight. With private beach access, guests can easily move between the pool, gardens, and sand without needing to leave the resort. It gives the property a true island escape feeling, especially if you want a stay that combines both poolside relaxation and beach time.

The resort also offers a range of facilities suited to different travellers, including dining venues, spacious resort areas, and leisure spaces that make it appealing for couples, families, and guests who simply want a comfortable base in northern Phu Quoc.

Dining

Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc offers several dining and drinking options across the property, making it easy to enjoy meals and drinks without needing to leave the resort.

Avenue Restaurant

Avenue Restaurant is the resort’s main dining venue, serving local and international cuisine throughout the day. Breakfast is served daily from 6:30 am to 10:30 am, with lunch and dinner also available seasonally.

Breakfast was a convenient and enjoyable part of the stay, especially before heading out to explore Phu Quoc or spending the day by the pool. The restaurant offers a broad selection, making it easy to start the day with something familiar while also trying local flavours.

Azure

Azure is the resort’s casual poolside option, serving snacks and cocktails daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

This is a venue that fits perfectly into a relaxed resort day. Whether you’re spending time by the pool, coming back from the beach, or simply wanting something casual without a full sit-down meal, Azure adds to the easy holiday rhythm of the property.

Annex

Annex offers tapas, international dishes, cocktails, small plates, and wine, operating daily from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.

It gives guests another relaxed dining option within the resort, especially for those who prefer something more casual and shareable. The combination of tapas, cocktails, and small plates makes it a good choice for an easy lunch, pre-dinner drinks, or a relaxed evening meal without needing to travel far.

Staff & Service

The service throughout our stay was warm, professional, and easygoing.

From check-in to dining and general interactions around the resort, the team helped create a stay that felt smooth and comfortable. At a large resort, good service makes a big difference, and we appreciated that the overall experience felt relaxed rather than rushed.

The staff were also helpful in making the stay feel easy, whether it was moving between the resort facilities, getting information about dining, or making the most of the location near Grand World and the surrounding attractions.

Final Verdict

Our stay at Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc was a relaxing and spacious island escape, with the perfect mix of beachfront atmosphere, tropical greenery, resort facilities, and convenient access to northern Phu Quoc’s major attractions.

The Sea View Suite gave us plenty of space to unwind, while the pool, gardens, and beach created that classic resort feeling that makes Phu Quoc such an appealing destination.

What stood out most was how easy the stay felt. You could spend the day enjoying the resort, walk through palm-lined paths to the beach, cool off in the pool, enjoy breakfast on-site, and still be close enough to Grand World, VinWonders, and Vinpearl Safari when you wanted to explore.

For travellers visiting Phu Quoc who want a beachfront resort with spacious rooms, lush surroundings, and a convenient northern island location, Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc is a fantastic option.
