Residence on Langley Park: Hotel Review

In one of Perth’s most iconic and beloved locations comes a fresh new chapter for Residence on Langley Park. Recently reimagined, this well-known property now enters a new era, blending modern design with timeless comfort along the Swan River.

On our latest trip back to our home city of Perth, we enjoyed a staycation we won’t soon forget. From impeccable service and spacious suites to relaxing wellness experiences and memorable dining, Residence on Langley Park delivered a stay that truly had it all.

Location & Getting There

Residence on Langley Park enjoys a fantastic central location overlooking the beautiful green space of Langley Park, one of Perth’s most scenic riverfront areas. From here, guests are treated to uninterrupted views across the Swan River towards the famous South Perth Foreshore — a view that perfectly captures the relaxed charm of the city.

The hotel is located on Adelaide Terrace, with convenient amenities just steps away including an IGA supermarket and several restaurants. This makes it incredibly easy to grab essentials or enjoy a casual meal without venturing far.

Getting into the heart of Perth’s CBD is also extremely simple. Popular shopping streets such as Hay Street, William Street, and Murray Street are just a 10–15 minute ride on the free CAT bus, which runs frequently throughout the city. With excellent public transport links nearby, Residence on Langley Park provides easy access to almost anywhere in Perth.

If you’re arriving by car, the hotel conveniently offers a fully secured indoor parking facility within the building.

Our Room: Residence Suite

During our stay, we checked into the Residence Suite - and the first thing that struck us was just how spacious it was.

Hotel rooms this generous in size are increasingly rare these days, and the suite truly felt like a luxury apartment rather than a standard hotel room. The living area was expansive and comfortable, overlooking the hotel’s pool area, while the separate bedroom offered something even more special.

From the bedroom windows we were greeted with stunning views across Langley Park and the Swan River towards South Perth. Waking up to that scenery each morning was nothing short of magical.

Facilities

One of the great things about Residence on Langley Park is that you could easily spend several days here without needing to leave the hotel.

The swimming pool and sauna, open daily from 6am to 9pm, offer a refreshing escape — particularly welcome during Perth’s warm summer months. It’s a relaxing space to cool off, unwind, and enjoy some downtime.

For those wanting to maintain their routine while travelling, the 24-hour fitness centre is well equipped with modern gym facilities.

The Residence Lounge, located across Levels 8 and 9, is another standout space within the hotel. Offering breathtaking panoramic views across the Swan River, it provides a sophisticated setting for morning coffee, casual conversations, or relaxed evening drinks.

For guests needing to stay productive during their stay, the Business Centre on the lobby level offers computers, internet access, and printing facilities, making it an ideal workspace away from home. A cosy relaxation corner is also included, perfect for unwinding between meetings.

LuxeGlo Medical Aesthetics

Residence on Langley Park has partnered with LuxeGlo Medical Aesthetics, a premium wellness and beauty clinic located within the hotel.

The clinic combines advanced aesthetic technology with personalised service, offering a luxurious environment focused on skin health, rejuvenation, and overall wellbeing.

During our visit, we experienced a Korean facial treatment along with a half-hour body massage, and it was the perfect way to start the day. The treatments were deeply relaxing and left us feeling completely refreshed.

The interior design of LuxeGlo was also stunning - modern, calming, and beautifully styled. It truly felt like stepping into a boutique wellness sanctuary.

Dining

Origin Restaurant by Olio’s

Origin by Olio’s is the hotel’s signature all-day dining restaurant, welcoming both hotel guests and local diners from morning through to evening.

The menu brings together modern Australian cuisine with subtle Asian influences, creating dishes that are bold in flavour while remaining beautifully balanced. The restaurant is designed to be versatile - equally suited for breakfast meetings, relaxed lunches, or dinner with friends.

During our stay we were treated to Chef Oli’s selection of favourite dishes, and everything was absolutely delicious. One standout for us was the burrata, which was incredibly fresh and unexpectedly memorable.

Lobby Bar

The Lobby Bar provides a relaxed yet elegant space to unwind throughout the day. Guests can enjoy everything from coffee and tea to handcrafted cocktails and premium spirits, making it the perfect spot for a casual drink or quiet conversation.

Staff & Service

The service throughout our stay was excellent.

Every staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Whether assisting with parking questions, providing tips on public transport, or simply greeting guests with a smile, the team consistently went out of their way to make the stay feel welcoming and effortless.

It’s this level of hospitality that truly elevates the overall experience.
