The Pan Pacific brand is renowned for its unique blend of old-school elegance and modern charm, and the Hanoi edition is no different. An iconic hotel located in the heart of Hanoi, a stay here is punctuated by an unparalleled view of West Lake and Tran Quoc Pagoda.

Views over West Lake – still pretty even on a cloudy day.

My room at Pan Pacific Hanoi

Beautiful night view of West Lake from my room at the Pan Pacific Hanoi.

I’m a man that’s all about views, so I was ecstatic with my Pacific Club Room which featured an exquisite view of West Lake and the surrounding area. Being a Club Room, I also enjoyed access to the Club Lounge.

My room was supremely comfortable and facilitated a peaceful stay for me. I loved the colours utilised in the room, and how clean everything was. The bathroom was also a nice touch – with a shower room and also a separate bathtub. Just wanted to note that the toiletries here are Balmain branded (very fancy!), which is awesome.

Such a comfortable room.

The products in the bathroom at Balmain branded!

Overall, I loved my room and found it to be extremely luxurious, yet cosy.

One of the highlights of my stay was the buffet breakfast that was served every morning. Not only was the food delicious and featured a wide variety, but the service was always top notch.

Cosy dining area for breakfast.

As I stayed in a Pacific Club Room, I was able to make use of the Club Lounge by having breakfast here with a view. The staff here were so, so friendly and kind, and I enjoyed having a chat with them on several occasions.

On one of the nights, I also enjoyed a buffet dinner at Pacifica Restaurant. The restaurant offered a wide selection of seafood, salad, international and western food, which was amazing. I particularly thought the seafood selection was very high quality.

Facilities, Hotel Grounds & Other Activities

Chilling by the swimming pool at the Pan Pacific Hanoi.

When you’re not partaking in all the fantastic culinary experiences or enjoying your comfortable room, the hotel also offers a variety of facilities and services.

Taking advantage of the great fitness centre here.

The Fitness Centre is open 24 hours and is actually divided into two parts – primarily a weightlifting section, and a separate cardio area. The gym equipment was well maintained and plentiful, and I really enjoyed working out here.

Absolutely loved the swimming pool area.

My favourite part of the hotel was the Swimming Pool, which features this awesome sunroof concept. Because the natural daylight shines through, the pool water is often warm and perfect for a dip.

The hotel also features a Spa with a range of spa treatments to choose from at relatively affordable prices.
